General Meeting of the Bellaire Democrats on Tuesday, February 7, 2012
The Bellaire Democrats will meet at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 7:00 pm at Hickory Pit Barbeque, 6601 S Rice Ave., Bellaire, TX 77401 .
The Club invites all members and the general public to arrive at 6:30 pm, and enjoy a Dutch-treat meal with your friends and neighbors.
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Chandler Davidson, who will talk about Voter ID issues and laws.
Dr. Davidson is a Research Professor and the Tsanoff Chair of Public Affairs Emeritus at Rice University. Dr. Davidson’s areas of interest are racial and ethnic politics, social inequality, and minority voting rights. His work on voting rights has been cited in seven U.S. Supreme Court opinions and numerous times in lower court opinions. He is also the sponsor of Rice Young Democrats.

1. Feb. 7, 2012 (Tue) - Meeting of Bellaire Democrats
The Bellaire Democrats will meet at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 7:00 pm at Hickory Pit Barbeque, 6601 S Rice Ave., Bellaire, TX 77401.

a). The current fiscal year of Bellaire Democrats is June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012. You may go to www.BellaireDemocrats.org to obtain a membership form. Our dues are based on your ability to pay (starting as low as $5 per year).
